Shyrwyn and I both have e-book readers that have been unused for pretty much since we came to Brazil back in 2020. A few days ago I decided to check if they would still be working after being so much time with the batteries completely discharged.
Most of the times, I choose the title of my text first, then write accordingly. But occasionaly, I do the opposite: write whatever comes to mind, then later choose a title that fits the content.
It reminds me that it doesn’t matter what you try to achieve. As long as you show up consistently on your mat – meaning doing the actual work – you’ll get there.
In my lowest days, I used to ask myself what my life would’ve been if I had decided to stay in my corporate job. What if I had made the wrong decision?
Days ago I was taking care of my daughter. She’s 2 years old and has recently started throwing tantrums consistently. It can be very irritating, but I do my best not to succumb to my irritation and to take the most effective action:
