I’m halfway through my trip to South America and so far, I’ve learned:
I arrive at the bus terminal and ask a guy if I’m on the right platformsup*/sup
Yesterday, I visited the falls from the Argentinian side in Puerto Iguazu.
Here I am in Argentina. Puerto Iguazu, in Misiones state. I’m switching from my poor Portuguese to my old Spanish (I haven’t practiced Spanish for 10 years!). I’m still confused and continue to say “Obrigada” instead of “Gracias”. I’m proud to say that I invented a new word: “Obrigracias” ^^
On my second day in Foz, I’ve been to Parque das Aves which means the bird park! It’s a park close to the falls, like 5 min walking distance.
After 16h of bus ride from Florianopolis, here we are in Foz do Iguaçu!
Have you ever heard about Lagoinha do Leste?
When I told my friends that I would be traveling solo for 4 months in South America, the first thing they told me was:
On the morning of December 16supth/sup, 2013, I woke up with a pain in my left foot.
…and I really enjoyed my time there! Thanks to HelpX!
