My way of traveling
I used to travel running after monuments to see, museums to visit, must-eat restaurants, … My expectations were so high that once I got to experience that stuff, I wouldn’t even feel satisfied. I would feel like “meh”. And let’s be honest, most of what I was doing was just to brag about it back home.
When I was in South America, sure I had some things I wanted to do, but most of my days were not planned. Since then, this is how I travel. And I enjoy more my trips that way.
Wandering around, getting lost, finding local restaurants, sitting in a café near the window to observe people outside, … not paying attention to the clock.
Just enjoying every single minute without any expectations at all.
