My straddle pincha progress

When I was only at the beginning of my pincha journey, I never thought I’d be able to do what I’m doing today.

I was just trying whatever my body was allowing me to do and although I knew that this would be long journey, I’d feel frustrated because I was trying soooo hard and no results 🤷

What I realize now is 1) I was too impatient and 2) I was obsessed with the result rather than enjoying the journey, thus not being present.

Today, I’ve become more mindful of my practice. It doesn’t mean that I don’t feel frustrated anymore though.

It still happens.

But when it does, I know it’s a sign that I’m not being present.

In times like this, I stop whatever I’m doing and just focus on my breath until I feel the frustration fading away.

🙃Pincha tip: Wherever you’re at in your pincha journey, don’t believe what your mind is telling you. Keep on practicing the foundations (dolphin, forearm plank, puppy stretch…) and one day it will pay off.
