I want to start my own business, but I’m scared of the chance of failure. What do I do?
Have you been dreaming about this crazy idea of creating your own business, but can’t get started because you’re too scared to take action?
For some reason, most people think that they only should do something if they are not scared. Most of us believe fear is something we should get rid off. We believe that, if we’re afraid of something, we should not do it unless we stop being afraid.
That’s not how things work.
Fear should be our ally
Fear of death makes us fasten the seatbelt, look both sides before crossing the street, etc.
Your fear of failure will make you be careful with your business, avoiding every avoidable mistake you can.
Just don’t allow your fear to stop you from going after your dreams.
Do you want to start your own business?
Go ahead.
Are you scared?
Go ahead anyway
Remember: when fear is facing us, it looks like our enemy. However, if we decide to keep moving forward, fear immediately starts walking right beside us, as our ally.
In the end, you’ll only be proud of the stuff you did when you were afraid of doing it.
And you’ll be proud even when you fail.
So go ahead, be brave.
I can’t guarantee you’ll succeed, but if you learn to walk with fear by your side, you’ll never regret your decisions.
