Busy-ness
— What do you do with your free time? the interviewer asked.
— I do nothing. It’s not free time if I’m doing something, he answered.
— But…how can you…do…nothing? the interviewer replied, visibly confused.
— Ah, that’s very simple, in fact! he exclaimed with a joyful smile, as if he had been waiting for someone to finally ask him that question. First, you go somewhere you like, get yourself comfortable, and start to think about all the things that you could possibly do. Then, you don’t do any of it!
It was simple, indeed. So simple that the interviewer couldn’t understand it.
