Courage

I used to think that whenever you had problems in a relationship, it meant you two were not supposed to be together. That a relationship should be “problemless”.

Now, I understand that hardship in a relationship is meant to test you.

Questions arise, like “Am I ready for a serious relationship?”, “Do I see myself with him for the rest of my life?”, “Am I with him because I’m scared to be single?”, “Am I with him because I think no one else will want me?”

It takes courage to ask yourself those questions. And it takes even more courage to make the decision to stay or to move on.
